Gareth competed in the first two rounds of the inaugural Zing Trofeo Abarth 500 GB in 2010.

Competing in the races at Oulton Park, Silverstone and Cadwell Park, Gareth claimed two victories, a second, a third and a fourth.

Gareth was leading the championship until he was forced to withdraw.
